About Us

Established and owned by a local family, Windscreens on Wheel commenced operation in 1980 followed by Kalamunda Glass in 1984. Being locally owned and operated by family businesses since their establishment, they have earned themselves a sound reputation, familiarity and solid customer base within the local hills community.

Kalamunda Glass and Windscreens on Wheels were bought in 2008 by Philip (Jnr) and his wife Hazel Boyce. These businesses were moved to share the family owned premises in High Wycombe alongside Boyce Western Glass. Whilst maintaining their own individual identities the three businesses now work alongside each other as ’sister’ companies each serving their own loyal customer base whilst enjoying the ability to over wider range of service in leadlights, commercial and domestic glazing, shower screen manufacture and installation, barrier screen manufacture and installation and general glazing.

Kalamunda Glass provides a service in general glazing for both the commercial and domestic markets and can manufacture and install shower screens to customer requirements and install pet flaps, mirror wardrobes and cut glass to size. The purchase of a 3 tonne glazing truck to complement the current fleet of glazing utilities was purchased soon after buying Kalamunda Glass, allowed expansion into the fitting of commercial window sections and new and replacement shopfronts for businesses, and large patio doors for the domestic market. It also has a 24 hour emergency glazing service.

Windscreens on Wheels supply & install windscreens and body glass to domestic and commercial vehicles and trucks. Being part of the glass companies it has access to glass stocks to supply & fit custom made windscreens and body glass to mining, farming and industrial machinery.

The 24hr emergency service and the after-hours phones are manned by qualified glaziers, thus being able to offer expert advice and assistance to customers.
